So, we all know that the “down there” wax is a most unpleasant experience. You’re all exposed and it hurts like hell... BUT LET ME TELL YOU... I have been getting waxed for a couple of years and visited this spa on vacation. It was the absolute BEST that an uncomfortable service could be. Tracy is quick and thorough. She makes you feel so comfortable during the experience. Now, I have moved to Charleston and currently have a standing wax appointment. Y’all have to check this place out. You won’t be disappointed. Oh, and if you don’t wax... DO! So low maintenance compared to shaving and zero itching when it starts to grow back! You’re welcome :)

My mother took me here for a massage and facial combo for my birthday. I've had a lot of massages over the years, and this one was by far the best. The facial was good - not amazing, but enjoyable - and what I really liked about it was that while she told me what she was using as she went, she didn't try to push any of it on us at checkout (but was very helpful suggesting options when we expressed interest in making some purchases). The spa is very pricey (I'm sure this has a lot to do with its location in the heart of the historic district) but honestly the massage was more than worth it.

I have had many massages and facials in the past, but I have never before had the wonderful experience that I had at Heart of Charleston Luxury Spa’s new location! I was complaining to my husband about relentless neck and low back pain. He surprised me with a spa day! Start to finish, it was the most relaxing and therapeutic experience! The staff is by far the most professional and talented I have ever experienced. My massage was wonderful and healing, my facial was perfect, and my hair looks incredible. The Spa is beautiful and serene, in a historic building on King street with all of the beautiful character one would expect from a building that was built in the 1800’s....read full review
