We are beyond grateful for the emergency care given to our 11 year old German Shepherd by Dr. Suubi and all of the staff. We were visiting Portland over the weekend when we got a call from our usual vet Saturday morning that our dog's blood work revealed a dangerous level of anemia. Our vet asked us to get her in for an emergency blood transfusion immediately. Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Tualatin was able to answer all of our questions over the phone and we decided to bring our dog in that afternoon. The intake process was very quick and efficient. I have been here before with my yorkie when he needed help and this time was the only place I could take him and get the help he needed. He had a collapsing trachea and when they have a panic attack or what ever the reason they can't get oxygen. These guys do and they know what exactly needs to be done. Unfortunately Koda this time was to severe. They tried and did the best they could, he was in the oxygen tent over night and sedatives and kept warm. We lost our kitty Gizmo almost a week ago. We took him to this hospital & didn't expect to leave without him. The amount of care, compassion & kindness everyone here has shown during AND after has been short of amazing. All of you are very much appreciated.
