Tim, Gary, and his team just finished a new roof on our 110 year old home. We have a very steep gable roof. They were very meticulous and consciousness about the process. They also replaced an upstairs deck and fixed all rot under it

I usually wouldn’t review someone like this but someone from this company driving a truck with their logo tried running me off the road today! I was driving on Kuebler and the 2 lanes were turning into one and all of a sudden he’s on the side of me in the wrong lane trying to push me off the road. I did not have contact with the truck before then because that was the first time seeing it. I guess he was in a hurry and felt like his life was more important than my children’s life, who were in the car with me at the time. The crazy thing was he got stuck behind a car that was driving slow and was driving so close to them, I thought he was going to hit them from behind. Very crazy! I am a professional who uses contractors quite a bit and would not use this company because of his stupidity.

Tim and crew did a great job on our siding/window/patio awning project. Great communication and attention to detail. Crew easy to work with and cleaned up at the end of day. Quality, top shelf work!

So I woke up this morning to a dark overcast gloomy sky, as well as what appeared to be a bit of a change in the forcast with rain moving in mid to late afternoon.I had a full garden trailer of torn off roofing, some open holes in the roof that required sheeting, and to be honest was feeling quite overwhelmed. Also, I felt confident that I had taken the project as far as I could, and now needed advice from the Pros! I humbly asked a neighborhood contractor for a "consultation." I want to extend a huuuuge shout out to GENTRY FAMILY CONSTRUCTION for coming to my rescue today!! Perhaps it was the desperation in my voice, or perhaps it is just that there are still some really good folks out there that go out of their way to help their communities. These guys saw a need, and their response was overwhelming! On a Saturday no less! Faster than you can say, "don't rain on my parade," roof was completely dried in!! I am both humbled, blessed and grateful. Thankyou Team Gentry! You are hero's in my book!!

Gentry Family Construction recently replaced window trim and accent boards on my home on the Oregon Coast. The work was done competently and efficiently and the price was fair. My dealings were with Tim Gentry, who responded in a timely manner whenever I sought to contact him and, when he committed to do something it was done, when promised. Gentry Family Construction is just what their name implies. It is a family business, and some of them have decades of experience in this kind of work. All of them are friendly, and willing to discuss the work and engage the owner in decision making. They are very informed, and freely offered their recommendations when I asked questions about the ‘right way to do things’. They are all very involved in quality control, and each person steps up to help when it is needed. The work was done professionally!!! I am very happy with the results..!!! And the cost came in exactly as it was estimated, and what we discussed well in advance. After receiving several estimates from multiple companies, we hired Gentry because they are truly a family business. They were communicative and fit our job into their schedule within a month or two of us contacting them. I would absolutely hire them again and highly recommend Gentry.

It went great. They showed up on schedule and finished 1 day early. Some of the sheeting on my roof was raising as the nails had come loose, they corrected that. I really like the way they did the valleys, they put down the ice barrier and overlapped the shingles for better water runoff and leak protection. They had a small crew but they were very efficient. They added drip edge which was not done when our home was built and Tim's dad brought a piece of drip edge to put over my shop door because he noticed there wasn't one there. I would recommend Tim and his crew without any hesitation.
