There isn't much I can say that hasn't already been touted, and we don't want John getting a big head so I'll just say, I've followed John from that place on hawthorne, then to Dapper, and now to hilltop chop. He's good... and the conversation is always pleasant ;)

I've been getting a haircut with John for the last 3 years and honestly John is so much more then a barber, but I consider him a good friend. He's been in this business for a long time and knows exactly how to interact with his clients and always exceeds my expectation and providing a haircut with a face only a mother can love :) Haircut and beard trim is priced very reasonably. I genuinely look forward to seeing him every week and now that he is in OC, it makes things a lot easier for work and everything else in between. Definitely don't waste your time elsewhere, and get a quality cut with John.

Been getting my haircut by John for almost two years now, followed him from Dapper after they closed down. John is thriving in Oregon City, and I’ll always support entrepreneurs! If you’re looking for a laid back atmosphere where you don’t have to listen to other barber/client conversations, this is your spot. Besides getting a top notch haircut, you’re likely to walk out a more learned student of history and Oregon forest exploration. I hear the Chinese restaurant next door isn’t half bad either, so there’s another positive! Maybe they’ll even open the bar next to John’s shop one day.
