I have been so happy with my curls since I started working with Mary 5 years ago! She is never shy about suggestions, which I really appreciate. She is never rude or chastising, as other reviews indicate - in fact, I look forward to chatting and laughing with her every 6 weeks! She has never cancelled an appointment, as also mentioned in a prior review. I have referred some curly friends to her, and all have been equally thrilled! Thank you, Mary!

Mary Balayaged my ultra curly hair. Adding some blonde for the summer and I am totally in love!!! She was so fantastic to work with and wouldn't let me leave without her loving my hair, which I really appreciate!! Can't wait to get a touch up in a few months. She also does DevaCurl cuts and understands curls

I always hate getting my haircut because it just looks bad afterwards and my curls look so blah(plus I have thick and unruly hair and often stylists complain about it or don't know what to do)...so I let it go until its too dry and gross NOT to cut it. I found Mary on the Deva Curl website and booked my first Deva Cut. I was prepared to be disappointed as usual, but was actually pleasantly surprised!! First off, she was super sweet. She booked plenty of time for the appointment so as to not be rushed, and took the time to discuss what I was wanting.
