I applied on a fluke, looking for something flexible I could work my way into after being a SHM for 3.4 years, and needing a break from the medical field I had worked in prior. I was feeling a little lost in the world, and needing to bring in some extra money. After interviewing with Alice, the amazing owner, i was offered a job starting 3 days a week, adding days to my schedule as I needed. Taking that job was one of the bet decisions I ever made as I found an employer who genuinely cares about her employees, the flexibility and work life balance I needed, along with competitive pay. I honestly never thought I would have loved a cleaning job as much as I ended up loving working at Clean Arrival and here are the reasons I would recommend working here;
Amazing Ownership. Alice was one of the best bosses I have ever had. She is very flexible to your needs, ans will work with you to create a schedule that works for you. She genuinely cares for her employees. She makes sure everyone has what they need to succeed, be it thorough training to a fridge filled with all kinds of foods and beverages for all us employees to eat as needed. She even provided us all very high end water battles during a hot summer so we would always have cold water available. On top of all this, Alice always made sure we knew we were appreciated. I will never forget when I was going through a really hard time, and she got me the sweetest gift and card. I felt so cared for.
Minimal Responsibility You do not have to provide ANYTHING! I have heard of companies making employees buy their own products, have their own car, even pay for their own uniforms. Not here. Alice and Clean Arrival provide everything you will need. Company cars for the work day, any and all cleaning supplies you will need, and again, food in the fridge for breakfast, snacks, or even lunches.
Safety Your Safety is #1 it doesnt matter if it is a long term client, or someone new, if an employee does not feel safe, Clean Arrival takes that seriously. You will never be put in a position you feel uncomfortable in for the bottom $$. They also called off work for days that would have been dangerous to work, loke extreme heat, oe ice storms.
Complete Pay and Growing Benefits The pay was always competitive, always above minimum wage, and I was given frequent raises. We were also offered medical and dental, 401Ks, and other benefits as the company grew. You also keep all tips!
Great Clients I really loved our clients, and got to know so many of them in the years I worked for Clean Arrival. We had so many regulars that were just as caring as Alice and treated us well.
I am not going to tell you the work was always easy, cleaning can be hard work, but working for Clean Arrival made it always worth those harder days.
I ended up going back into the medical field over 3 years ago, but Alice still checks in with me and my family, and I would return in a heartbeat if I ever get burned out or other circumstances.
