I have been going here for7 years with different pets. Dr. Tegarden was recommended to me by my veterinarian in Klamath Falls when we moved to the Rogue Valley. It's a bit of a drive from Eagle Point, but well worth it. The staff and all of the different doctors I have seen over the years have been great. Very pleased with their care for my pets.

Finding a vet in Southern Oregon is not easy. Most are not taking new patients, and those that are, are booking months out. Apparently there's a serious shortage. So, when I was referred to this place by the best vet in the universe, I was thrilled that they could get me in in 10 days. I needed my new pups checked, and figured I'd be vetting the vet for my daughter who has just moved here with three greyhounds. She's a true mama bear about her furmily so finding an excellent vet was going to be important. On the phone all went well. They requested prepayment and I complied. Then when we called back to see if we could arrange for an animal rescue to cover payment for some of the vaccines, things got complicated. They'd never done that before and seemed fearful that they wouldn't get paid. Well, we persevered and gave them more money in advance of our rescued puppies appointment. It wasn't until the actual meeting that I noticed how downright rude and unwelcoming all but two of the staff there were. We were ushered into a small room, the vet entered and didn't even introduce herself. She proceeded to examine the pups and while she did a thorough job, there was no warmth, kindness or even curiosity in her demeanor. Half an hour into our appointment a very irritated office person came in to complain that she had " people coming in"..... earlier I had shared with them that the adopters of these pups would be meeting us there but apparently when they came, there was an issue. I apologized for this huge inconvenience and the nice couple retreated to their car. It was unclear why this was such a big deal but it was certainly unpleasant. A little later another gentleman with 2 sweet little girls was met with the same derision. Even the little girls were treated as if they had committed some crime. Our appointment took a long time. When completed I was asked to wait in a poorly ventilated room. The adopters waiting outside were told they couldn't come in till we "settled"! Given that services were all prepaid it was unclear what there was to settle- they had two credit cards guaranteeing payment. Finally when I decided to just get out of that little room I was told of the additional charges- not a problem except when I asked for an itemized invoice I got the eye roll and big sigh. The lack of courtesy at this place is a whole new level of rudeness. While I first thought it was due to my accent, or to prejudices against my gay friends, it really reached a whole new level when two sweet little girls and their polite dad were met with the same rudeness. What I hoped to be a warm threshold of a new relationship for these three pups as well as my daughter's three dogs turned out to be a disappointing situation that I will most definitely not repeat. We will go elsewhere with our 6 new patients.

Nickel and dime you. I gave a bad revue and they decided to refuse service. They are in it for $$ and do all they can do to raise cost. Shame on you.

They've always been so lovely to me and my roommates. We had a bit of an emergency at the beginning of last year with one of our cats, where we ended up staying in their office for the better part of the day before needing to then drive over to an emergency vet. They were so incredibly sweet and helpful throughout the entire process-including staying about a half hour after closing to make sure we were okay to get our boy over to the ER.

Very kind and caring very and staff. I recently had to take my beloved key here, and unfortunately, my boy (Lil Bit) was too ill, and I had to make the heartbreaking decision to let him go. He was 13. Everyone was so kind and caring and understanding. Compassionate of my feelings. I decided to have him cremated, and when I received his ashes a week later, they came on a beatififul carved wooden box urn, which I wasn't expecting, and a paw print set in red clay.

The place is always busy and the parking is challenging to say the least. The staff is friendly and stressed. Cost is high like most vets. The care is first rate and from the heart. The only request I have is the place should do more pro-bono work. Make an appt early if possiable

They have been taking care of Daisey and my previous dog Buck for 20 years or more. Dr Pope loves animals and the people who bring them in. He has the "touch" with animals and people. He is the best vet I have ever seen. One of the best things is that his pricing is very reasonable ? ? ? ?
