No words for how kind Dr. Koester is. This needle phobic woman has had the need for several cortisone shots in my knee joint. He has always been considerate of my fears and is very gentle. He treats me with an open mind, not acting as if I am a complainer and he communicates well with me. I’m only disappointed that he doesn’t do replacement surgery. Have convinced my hubs to go to him as well. Highly recommend him.

Thank you Dr Koester for taking a look at my knee! It's not the best news, but it confirms what I thought was going on and it's validating. I'll follow your advice and play it safe and I really appreciate the info on which motions and activities I can do and which I should avoid while I'm healing. I'm also very grateful for the scans you ordered and the referral. Looking forward to making a full recovery!

I have never had such an efficient experience in a medical setting. I arrived early, as requested, to check-in. Completed that and was sent upstairs. Before I could even sit down they called my name. They took me back for x-rays and said someone would be there to take me back to the doctor. It was a couple of minutes and the doctor was in the room in no time. Dr. Koester was thorough, but quick. I didn't feel rushed, but got the answers I needed. Highly recommend SLOCUM in general, and Dr. Koester.
