Tried to contact the owners multiple times over the course of a couple weeks to no avail, they had properties listed as available and eventually I decided to stop by and ask since emails and calls got me no where, just to be told they “don’t have any availability until October” by someone who refused to even let me into the leasing office ?

Been here for 2 years. I unfortunately have to move because of health reasons. If you have a problem, the maintenance staff is right on top of it, and the Management are good at listening if you have a issue. I have been lucky and had good neighbors, if you want to talk..they will, or they will just let you be. I hope my next place will be as good as this one.

After a thorough inspection and asking and reading I reveal the following. I intended on renting this starting beginning 8-7-20. I started looking at it in early July. Inspected the ground level unit 4 weeks before move in and stated would check it out 2 weeks before move in. 1st inspection, wrote down a few minor issues that needed repair or adjustment, which were followed up within a few days and completed to spec. Serious issue was the fact that the main Bdr window did not lock properly, though was prevented from opening by a wooden dowel rod. (Unacceptable). 2nd inspection, and initial deposit and previous minor repairs etc; fixed. Met with maintenance person to show what exactly is wrong with window. (Mind you this is the 2nd time I've asked the window be fixed). Shown exactly what is wrong with window, that I previously signed their forms and lease signing off on, (All items and etc in unit were in working order), "Not true". This window was the only thing that was not. 3rd inspection, get keys day for move in. At this point I am a little hesitant because, I knew that the window would not be fixed properly. Asked to inspect the unit one final time, and accept keys for move in. Checked it out, everything good except for window. (Window "was" closed and locked; however, I unlocked it and open the window to test to make sure it worked open close lock). Guess what! The window did not lock, I struggled for 10 minutes trying to slam the window shut, open and close forcefully, to no avail did I get that window locked. I placed the wooden "stick" back in the window. Locked the unit disgruntled, drove back over to main office. Was immediately greeted with agitated, pushy, and selfish attitude. Was told that, "the window was locked, and works and etc". "Was then told, "well we're not going to rent to you because, you complain to much". I then said, "I will accept the unit only if the maintenance person would come re-lock the window". Was told no, it cannot be done. Had 3 guys over there to fix it and the windows are old and nothing we can do about it.I then state, "If I write out an amends to the signed form you guys told me to agree upon that all things were in working order, I would have your company sign off stating the window does not lock properly and have it notarized". Well we cannot do that, we just can't allow someone to complain all the time. The office then called the "owner, or property uppoer management", I was speaking through the door of the office on speaker and they said I would be reimbursed my deposit and minus 100$ application fee. How ungratefully poor the service, how lazy a place that after 3 attempts to ensure that something should be fixed, especially after I signed and I inspected it three times, the company allow this behavior to continue. I was actually excited to live here, the place was nice and the price was good. Just very, extremely flabbergasted that a business would just get by and lie to just get a renter and fill the unit. There is no integrity anymore. Replace the windows please! This is a serious issue, 45+ years old.

Floods, bee problems, nosey neighbors and nosey landlords. They will stand right next to your door and listen in. I will let you decide.

    1. Nieghbors are wonder and kind, but the staff however is not. Complex has a rule of no pets allowed but they, of course, allowed service animals. I asked before applying to double check that they would be okay with it & said yes. From the moment I signed the lease they gave me nothing but attitude especially about my service dog. Even made a comment about how they know you can just buy a certificate online (even though I provided a drs note and training certification).
