I have been going here for years and I can always count on Nessi to do a perfect job every time. Nessi also introduced me to a shorter cut last year and I think it's an improvement over my previous style. Appointments are required, but they do a great job working with you to find a mutually convenient time, and there are sometimes even appointments available the day you call.

BEST BARBER I HAVE EVER MET! Once you've been here, you won't want to go anywhere else. Easily the best haircut I have ever received. The proprietor (Nesi or Nezi) is knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely competent. I used to live around the corner, and found this place while exploring the neighborhood. I used to think of getting my haircut as a chore, something to be completed routinely, quickly, and at minimal expense. Nezi changed all that. He takes his time and does an excellent job every time. I've been going to Nesi at Professional Hair Designers just about every month for the past 4 years. In my (albeit biased) opinion, there's no better barber downtown. Technically, it's a three-chair shop, but you want Nesi. Tell him what you want once, and he'll remember what you like from then on. You'll get a shampoo, cut, straight-razor shave to line up the edges, a scalp massage with product, and a steam towel to relax your work week away. Then, he'll take the time to double-check his cuts after your hair dries. Trust me, the man won't let you leave unless everything is perfect. Two tips - first, bring cash.
