mel I haven't personally worked with but she's friends of my sister in law and I've been gobsmacked by her work. especially her cover up work . but I saw her former apprentice sky (inked cowgirl) once and Sara (late.bloom.liner) 3 times now and they ALL have such unique , intricate and overall amazing works. I live in Maryland but whenever we go to Cincinnati to see my husband's family I try to get an appt. the shop is so outstanding . kuddos to all the artists but to Mel for a well run operation and a great team of apprentices she just graduated who are doing work like they were 20 years in
My first experience at UniquInk was this past Saturday (3.29.2025), with Sara. We texted during the week to improve the design I suggested for a lower back tattoo. Sara created 3 alternatives and was open to changes so I was happy with the very detailed design. Upon my arrival, Sara greeted me promptly and warmly. She took the necessary time resizing the stencil for proper fit and placement in the area. Music was on during the entire tattooing process, which I loved and provided distraction. I cannot recommend this shop enough!!!! Everyone here is so nice and the vibes in there are always amazing. I see Avery i’ve gotten 8 pieces done by her now she is so thoughtful and puts so much effort into her work, she always makes sure you’re getting what you want. I feel so comfortable and confident what I will get done here will be amazing!!!! <33
