Being that this is the only tanning salon in walking distance, I go here, but i agree that it's kinda gross. The whole place looks run down and like it has seen better days. the girls that work there are just preoccupied all the time and overall, it is nasty...

I don't use tanning beds I use spray tans. I used the Versa Spray tan in the city several times and never had an issue. I went to tanning loft on Nome last night November 9th and used the Versa , I asked for the same shade I always use , Half the spray came out black, literally black and greasey. I don't know if the spray needs to be cleaned or if it was a malfunction . it left a weird shade on me. I showed the front desk my black streaks and although she was very nice didn't really know what to do and just said she doesn't use it so she didn't know. I rarely tan since I have olive skin to begin with but if I have a special event coming up I'll go. I've been to this location, Hylan & Victory and I find Nome to be the dirtiest. I only go in stand up and theres a fan underneath your feet that has receipts, tissues and grossly even bandaids flying around. The lights always have dried up gook on them that I'm hoping is just lotion. The parking lot is always packed because of the other businesses in the plaza so you don't always get a spot when you go at night. Also, there is always a lot of people tanning here but if there's a wait it's no longer than 10 minutes. The girls behind the counter are nice but I think the manager...read full review
