I was feeling impulsive one day after getting a manicure across the street and I noticed this tattoo shop, so I walked in to get a new tattoo on a whim. The artists there were so chill and friendly, and overall I was so comfortable in the hands of my tattoo artist, despite it being an extremely painful location for a tattoo (my ribs). I was so happy with the line/shading work at the time, and 4 years later the tattoo still looks so beautiful. The price is also very reasonable.

Getting there: Coming from NJ, you can take the PATH to WTC then switch over to the C train from Fulton St to Clinton - Washington Ave. Then walk about 3 mins down the street and the shop is on your right hand side. Experience: I was referred to Sam through a work friend, and my goodness did she do a phenomenal job. She was able to draw out exactly what I saw in my head, as well as build off of what another artist started. She was super friendly, and made great conversation. I can't say enough good things about this shop. Not only is Sam an awesome artist with a keen eye for detail and amazing technique, she also is trustworthy, professional, and kind, making it a great experience all around. I had a Zoom consultation with Sam last month, where I described my idea. I chose her because of her experience with plant/botanical designs and the subtlety of her textures. When I saw the mockup, it exceeded my expectations. Her vision and skill are exactly what my idea needed to come to life.
