I go to Twin Shear's for beard trims. Tom and Paul know they're stuff. Old school and with a touch of class that's lacking in soooo many business's today. Twin Shear is no clip joint (pun intended), just good cuts at fair prices. Tom actually sculpts my beard to fit my face, I guess you could call them artists. Very pleased.

I always went here as a kid and throughout high school. Moving down to Manhattan, I thought I could get similar haircuts to the ones Paul always gave me. Not only is the personal experience better with Paul, but it is half the price while getting the same cut. He brings an old fashioned approach but appeals to a modern day look as well. I am in my early 20s and Paul can easily meet my requirements for a specific/picky hairstyle; as well as exceeding others expectations for traditional haircuts.

This is an old school barber shop located on the first floor in the Albany County building at 112 state street. This is the type of shop that offers the old school experience at half the price and without the pretension of Patsy's Barber shop around the corner. It's the type of place where you can browse a playboy while getting a razor cut and talking cars. All of the barbers here are skilled but Paul really is the man! Bottom Line: A real first rate Barbershop
