I was in the process of purchasing a home in Hoboken, and contacted Elite Roofing to do a roof inspection. Al, the owner of Elite, advised me to first get permission from the homeowner to conduct this inspection and to take a core sample, which he said was used to tell me how many layers were on that roof. Within 2 days Elite was able to meet me at the property to do a full roof inspection and to take the core sample. Elite Roofing gave me an extremely detailed report summarizing their findings which helped me gain leverage over the seller and negotiate a better price on the house. On one of the worst days of my life, I discovered a leak in our ceiling. I was so overwhelmed that I couldn't handle dealing with roofers and quotes. Eventually, I called several places and Elite responded the quickest. They sent someone to our home with a drone. Initially, I was surprised by the quote, but I spoke to Al, who was honest, professional, and treated me with respect. Even though I was still waiting for another quote, I knew in my heart that I was going with Elite. I visited the office twice. Karyn and Sophie were so warm and treated me like family, not like a client.The other company promised a quote that came 2 days late and was outrageously vague and overpriced. I also questioned them about why they sent a different company to inspect the roof. They said it was a relative trying to get their company off the ground. The entire Elite Roofing team was awesome. I am a detailed, organized guy who likes things done right and that's what Elite Roofing did. They documented my property with photos and drone video footage, they turned around a fast estimate with suggestions and recommendations. Elite Roofing was very patient as I reviewed the estimate and asked a lot of questions.These guys are the craftsmen of roofing, I received a killer new roof, clean and tight with 2 big, gorgeous skylights, the entire team worked hard, and it seemed like they had fun while doing it, they are a great group of guys. Since the roof has been completed Al & Karyn have called and emailed my wife and I asking if all is good and letting us know they are here for us.I used them once and I will use them again in the spring / summer for a new upper roof and skylight replacement. The guys that came to do redo the roof were amazing. They were on time and very comical, I told them that they need to have their own show. They did great work; repaired our roof and installed a skylight as well. We have had several storms and no issues. We purchased a new home that had issues with the roof, and elite roofing helped us to report the issues to the warranty company, as well as join the arbitration hearing to provide expert testimony. After settling with the builder we contracted Elite roofing to perform the necessary work, and the job was completed in 1 day. I cannot recommend them enough!
