We had been told our well was dry and it would cost in excess of $80,000 to put in a new, something we could not afford; so we hauled water for over a year. My husband was talking to Scott Silverthorn, owner, who was working on a friends property, and he mentioned our issues. When my husband told him what aquifer we were on, he was confused, saying our well couldn’t be dry. He came out to our property and, after examining our well and finding everything in order there, he asked to see the remainder of the equipment - something the original repair tech had not done. As soon as he opened the cover of the pumptec circuit box, he discovered the circuit board inside was melted; the metal box had contained the fire. After hauling water twice a week for over a year, limiting showers, laundry, and extreme water conservation, it cost us less than $700 to have our well back - a lot less than $80,000. Scott was great to work with; he was knowledgeable about all aspects of wells - from starting one to maintaining, and he was patient with our questions. He was considerate of the fact that we’re on a fixed income; and, overall, he was a fantastic guy to work with. I would recommend Scott and Silverthorn Pump to anyone needing any work regarding their well needs.

Can not say enough good things!!! Our well hasn’t been working for months. Called everyone around and no one would bother to come out to look at it. Silverthorne came out and had it fixed in an hour, also very reasonably priced!!Service: Pump repairs & installation

Woke up without water. I don't know a thing about well pumps/tanks/switch etc so I turn to Google. So confidently I checked the circuit breaker and psi gauge. I know, don't laugh.Anyways, I originally spoke with American out in billings and not only were they steep but they were also incredibly rude on the phone. Questions all over the place about my pump that was just foreign information to me that I couldn't answer.Thankfully, a friend's wife recommended Silverthorn to me and I cannot thank her or this company enough.I have water!!! But here's the best part and why I recommend them:-Scott (owner and servicer) didn't waste anytime-he was completely honest-incredibly reasonably priced. I live in roundup and there's still travel to account for.-provided me education on what went wrong-came out the same day-understanding, compassionate and professional.-and of course, they fixed the problem.I highly recommend them! I wish I had a magnet for my fridge with their info. In the mean time, their in my phone. They will be my forever go to for my well! Amazing customer service and experience always makes me want to come back. I look forward to working with them again in the future because they have earned my trust! Don't hesitate to call them If you need any well servicing!

Silverthorn Pump was recommended by a friend several years ago when the pump at our rental house went out. Scott's service was excellent. We have called him a couple other times for smaller issues and have been equally satisfied with his knowledge and service. Yesterday he came out to fix what we thought was a leaky pressure tank. He replaced a schrader valve and did not charge for the part or service. This was on a system he did not sell to us. He is just that sort of guy. The three or four experiences we have had with him have all been excellent.
