Placed an engraving order back in September and it is now January and still no engraving. They had 90 days to complete and now going in month 4. Excuse now it is too cold. I have made several phone calls to get completed. Would never recommend this place. One excuse after another.

Pleased with ordering process with part owner, BUT then in follow up 6 months later that we had to initiate, were told our marker was never ordered! Strike 1. Merkle finally placed order that they were not even aware of not being ordered, and we requested it be ready in the spring at this point since winter was upon us. Now, it's April and once again, we had to initiate checking on the status of our order and were told that it had already been delivered and installed in the cemetery in December. What? At a time when I couldn't think straight - I lost my son unexpectedly - I went to Merkles to look for a stone. I had gone to a couple other places and didn't feel comfortable at either one. I told Markles my budget and what I wanted and they went out of their way to treat me with respect and kindness and delivered and installed a beautiful stone.... exactly what I wanted at the agreed cost.
