I visited Astra Salon yesterday afternoon for the first time on a whim to get my hair cut as it was getting too long for my age. Michael, the owner, gave me the best haircut of my life; took his time, and at an incredibly reasonable cost! Needless to say, he is my new hair stylist. THANKS, MICHAEL!
Michael is simply the best. I've moved around a fair bit for work, gotten haircuts up and down the east coast, Switzerland, and Italy. Astra is better than all of them. Michael has a ton of experience, true professional, and does a great job on your hair. He doesn't need a lot of direction - he knows what will look good and work with your style. Michael is great to talk to, always has a story or interesting discussion. I'd stop in to say hi while walking home work.
Kerry is amazing. I've been here 3 times now for a full or partial foil and cut and she's 3 for 3. Her coloring skills are awesome and she's the first person in my entire life who has actually figured out what I was trying to explain when describing how I want my bangs to be trimmed/end up looking. She is very good at what she does.
