I have been going to Mirka for waxing for about 8-10 years. Not only does she do an amazing job, but she is so sweet and personable. Ive recommended her to numerous friends and family.

The legend is true!! This is the most fantastic, best kept secret salon!! My mom first went to Shear Elegance 46 years ago. My sister-in-law, her sister and mother trust only the professionals in this secret hideaway salon. And they always look like models!!! I finally went this past Friday, and walked out with my first real hair style!! I have a reason to fly back to Chicago from Dallas, TX!!

I had my first appointment at Shear Elegance last Friday and it was amazing! Liza did a cut and color and it was everything I wanted and more. From the second you step foot into the Salon you are greeted with smiles and are overcome with positive energy throughout the floor. Not only did I interact with Liza, but surrounding stylists took time to not only introduce themselves, but show interest in my color choice (brown to red), which made me feel not only comfortable, but confident as well! There's a diversity in individuals within the salon which I think is amazing and I would recommend Shear Elegance to any age group, gender, etc. Thank you Liza for bringing my hair...read full review
