Highly recommend this store for flooring needs! Anna was very knowledgeable and personable - great to work with. The men measuring and laying the carpeting communicated well about scheduling, were on time, and did fantastic work. I’m very pleased with the results - and everyone involved in the process made the job much easier for me!

INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED with UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE & MISLEADING WARRANTY CLAIMS
In good conscience, I cannot recommend America's Flooring Store located in Arlington Heights, IL. I strongly advise others to be vigilant and make informed decisions before committing to a costly flooring purchase and installation with this company and their third-party installation company based on my recent personal experience, which regrettably was one of extreme dissatisfaction and immense disappointment.
In early April of 2024, wall-to-wall carpeting was purchased for a 2 bedroom rental condo unit, after being assured by the saleswoman that the Mohawk carpet I had selected was covered for soil and stain resistance under a lifetime Mohawk warranty. However, after the purchase, installation and my concerns regarding the appearance of stains on new carpeting throughout the unit, I contacted Mohawk's Claim Representative, Zina, who informed me that there was a clear exclusion for rental properties. I was appalled to learn that I had been sold carpeting without any valid Mohawk warranty, despite what was promised.
The company owners blamed the manufacturer for the vast, countless stains and claimed in writing (after informing them rentals are excluded from Mohawk's warranty), "America's Flooring Store will approve unit's carpet installation as if it is installed in an owner occupied residence. The Mohawk residential warranty will apply to this property. Nothing more, nothing less." It is my belief the owners will not honor any warranty based on their untrustworthy, unaccountable, unprofessional conduct during this entire process. Owners were insistent a carpet cleaning vendor of THEIR choice would be hired at their expense for all stain removal throughout unit.
It's incomprehensible that brand-new carpeting would require professional cleaning at all! Installers had intentionally failed to make me aware of the stained carpet condition before and during installation, as they requested I stay out of all rooms while work was in progress. I had to notify owners, as installers left premises abruptly after work had been completed without saying goodbye and in a deceptive manner.
The issues did not end there. The third-party installation company, hired by America's Flooring Store was highly unprofessional and exhibited a blatant disregard for safety and condo rules, despite expressing my concerns. The installers' attitudes were dismissive, intimidating, arrogant, disrespectful, leaving large rolls of carpet blocking safe access to the elevators, creating a significant tripping hazard for residents and guests. Despite providing pictures of installers' unsafe work manner to owners, my concerns were dismissed, only defended the installers' unsafe work manner. One of the installers had an accident while hastily removing carpet roll from elevator, his son (co-worker) insisted I not call 911.
The carpet installer and owners insisted that their metal transition piece placed between the foyer tile and hallway carpet had been properly installed, despite my concerns that it wasn't durable, long-lasting or suitable for such a high-traffic area. Only after persistent insistence on my part did the "project manager" finally reinstall it correctly. This kind of disregard, dismissiveness and refusal to take accountability on the part of the owners and installers was consistent throughout the project.
Given the unsafe and unprofessional conduct I witnessed, I strongly advise any prospective buyers to request a Certificate of Insurance from both America's Flooring Store and their unprofessional third-party flooring installation company BEFORE making any purchase,

A huge thank you to Anna and Lisa for outstanding customer service! They were so helpful in explaining the construction and functionality of the materials for use in our new home. And, they facilitated our timeline for installation, which was much appreciated. I had ordered carpeting for 2nd floor and laminate for first floor. The products are beautiful. Also, a huge shoutout to the tireless installation crews who were super friendly and professional. You will not be disappointed with the competitive pricing and the huge selection of flooring options provided by this store !

We hired AFS to fix a flooring issue from another contractor. AFS not only provided flooring and service but helped guide us on the best approach for our project. We were grateful to not just buy flooring but have an expert guide us through what we'd want to do to solve our issue. We would use AFS again and recommend them to anyone.
