I had to learn how to cut my husband's and son's hair during the pandemic and while I still cut their hair from time to time, I much prefer to send them to the professionals at Varsity Barber, especially before an event or school pictures. June does a perfect fade even with my son's thick hair. My husband's hair is also tricky to cut because of the mix of textures (wirey white hairs mixed with smoother dark hairs) yet June does a wonderful job every time. Much better than me or Great Clips or Supercuts. We try to come here every 3-4 weeks. Shop sometimes has a funny smell, but it's clean enough and worth it to get the nice cut.

I’ve been coming here since I moved to Hawaii and I’m very loyal to my hairstylist. How do you spell his name? How do you spell his name? I would like to call him CJ. He is multi talented not only as a barber, but as a high quality hairstylist. I am not gay, and he made me feel 10 years younger. :-)

I was in the area and found Varsity Barber on Yelp. Shop is basic but comfortable. I received a wonderful haircut for a reasonable price. They don't finish with a straight razor but they have electric clippers that come close. I'll be back.
