This dental office is great for those of us who can't make regular dental appointments. My issue is they constantly over charge what contractually have agreed to charge. I have Delta Dental Premier as my insurance. I recently was asked to pay a balance from a previous visit. I called DD and discussed all my procedures done and what they paid (100%). In our conversation we discussed why I was paying for balances and their reply was they didn't know either. As they continued to explain, a dentist who contracts with them agrees to the pricing of procedures, no more and obviously no less. In the past, I remember overhearing Dr. Kim arguing about why she was extorted to accept a price structure in order to sign on with an insurance carrier. It now makes perfect sense. I have audited my visits, what was billed and paid by the insurance, as well as what I have unknowingly paid myself. Short of alleging criminal behavior, I will no longer be a patient of this dental office and PATIENT BEWARE.

i was having pain and discomfort with one of my teeth. i went to visit dr kim and she pulled my teeth very easily with no issues. i went back to get my teeth cleaned and had a great experience with the hygienists and other staff.

What is there to say wow front office great welcome back office very attentive doctor very honest straightforward and persistent what more could you ask for. You want to go and feel like a person allow Alen Kim to be your dentist for life. Kindness is a great Motivation to have for a team.

I went for a reunion at Georgia few weeks ago and went back to Dr. Kim for some consulting while I was there. I had a very good experience with her few years ago and I know I trust her the most. She was able to tell me all the different options I can do. I am so satisfied with the Dr. Kim and her staffs are amazing. I wish I live here in Georgia so she can be my primary Dentist. But I don't mind visiting this dental office every few years when I'm traveling. I really don't understand some negative reviews that some people wrote cuz it's so far from truth. Please judge for yourself cuz I think Dr Kim is one of the Best out there.

I was upset with aspen dental had me waiting a long time then told me I had to reschedule my appointment cause they don't put me in the system. So I walk out and went to 138 dental they was so helpful to me and I was seen on the spot no waiting thanks you all for giving me good customer service.

On 12/06/2022 I received a dental partial and it was not sitting properly in my mouth. I called the dentist at the McDonough office, who took the impression and ordered the partial to make an appointment to have an adjustment. The office said they completely booked until mid February 2023....imagine that!!! That will appointment will absolutely not work.I called my insurance (Humana) and a Rep. referred me to this dentist, Dr. Kim, by my insurance, to have my brand new dental partial adjusted. (Dr. Km is in network). I called to make an appointment on 12/19/2022 and was in the dentist office on 12/20/2022. When I arrived at the office, I was charged $129 and ushered into an exam room. Dr. Kim entered and asked why I was there... I explained the situation and her immediate and extremely rude response was, "you need to return to the dentist who did the partial, I don't do that" then she walked out of the room. IT WAS THE MOST HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE EVER!! How rude and unprofessional is this woman! I went to the receptionist and inquired about a refund to my payment since I did not receive any service....she was equally rude, and there was no refund to my payment. I was beyond upset. When I left the office I called my insurance, Humana, and explained what had transpired on this visit. The insurance Rep. said I should not have been charged since the visit was covered by the insurance company. On a 3-way call to Dentist office for an explanation on why I was charged, the receptionist hung up on the insurance rep. DO NOT GO TO Hwy 138 Dental, DR. KIM!!!!Pearl S

I went in for a dental emergency and from the moment I walked in the receptionist, Denise, was extremely friendly and helpful which eased some of my anxiety.. I truly appreciated it .. but the REAL MVP was Joyce, not sure what her official title is but she took my X-rays and explained everything . She was so sweet and patient .. not realizing I was sooooo scared to be there. I could not have walked into a better dentist office. Dr. Kim was also lighthearted with a calming bedside manner. I was referred out to an oral surgeon who took me the next morning. The entire experience was positive and I have found my new home for dental care in Stockbridge. Kudos to the entire team.

I had to have a wisdom tooth & molar pulled,I was in such pain, but Dr Alen Kim & her staff helped me through it. They made me feel so comfortable. And best of all ,they let me come in the same day I called for appointment!
