I went to the LIttle Clinic at the Unitah shopping center (after the web still had the location on Austin Bluffs). I had been sick all week and out of work on Wednesday with a terrible sore throat and it was hard to swallow. The nurse practitioner said she would not prescribe antibiotics until I had been sick for from 6 to 7 days and really I had only been sick 4 days since Wednesday. When I tried to change that scenario saying I had symptoms before that she wold have none of it and sent my on my way. She was rude and talked down to me. She said I needed to open my ears and listen to her and I might learn something. Caring bedside manner... NOT... I will go to anywhere before I go back to an uncaring clinic where the nurse practitioners are so smart they can tell better than you when you are sick and for how long. What an absolute farce,.
Worst clinic experience ever. The staff were incredibly rude. Took a full 3 hours to see a nurse when they told me it would take less than an hour after I checked in. The nurse saw all the patients before me and decided to go to lunch early and not come back for an hour and a half. So I got to sit, sick, in the small waiting area with other sick people hacking and coughing on me for that whole time. Three hours. Save yourself the trouble and don't come here.
The computer system is pretty slow but the check in process is pretty simple. The PA (Tim) is friendly and a good listener. The receptionist that was working when I came in is a real people person and it shows she really likes to help people. The RN (I forgot her name, maybe Leslie?) is rude and patronizing. She should NOT be in the business of taking care of people as she clearly does such a poor job at it. I have never filed a complaint with a business before, but I am sending a detailed complaint to Corporate because of the awful experience I had with her. Other than the awful RN, I would recommend the Little Clinic because it's affordable: $85 a visit; $35 for a follow up and it's convenient.
