So, in all fairness, I paid him with Zelle so it was my fault for closing the transaction when I wasn't completely satisfied. I was in a hurry and in a bind since I couldn't open my front door. He told me he was in Long Beach which I learned now when Googling his phone number that he is in Hollywood. He came on time, provided me pricing which I thought was really crazy high, but I just wanted my front door fixed and while he was here, replace two other door locks. Three doors, three standard deadbolts and doorknobs (replacements), one hour of work...guess how much? $1285.11 Slight damage to the front door when he had to pry it open. He said I could get a woodworker to fix it. I sanded and stained it for now. When he emailed me the receipt he had $895 for one hour of labor. I was flabbergasted, especially when he spent the entire time on the phone talking to other people. I think he could have synergized the pricing in lieu of charging me for all six locks. Hindsight is 2020. Found a doorknob on the ground today. Just mad at myself for the whole transaction.
