Mak was amazing! We just moved to Ventura from LA and he did a great job on my fiancés hair. Highly recommend him, you can tell he has a gift for this.

I've gotten a good couple haircuts from here so I went back, every time I've gotten a different barber... This time it was a heavier set gentlemen with black shirt beard and a hat. I showed up a few minutes late past the time he told me to be there, but there was someone already in the seat. It took him just over an hour to cut this persons hair while I was patiently waiting and listening to their music. Not even Mak wanted to take me as he was cutting another guys hair the whole time and switched to another guy when I finally sat down for my haircut. I don't want to be rude but it almost seemed like they just wanted me to leave. I had just got off work so I was dressed in my work clothes, kakis and a golf shirt. I finally got in the chair and the haircut was quick. it looked pretty good in the mirror, but now I'm noticing the back and sides are not so much the same length on both sides, and a lot of hairs just seem uncut. Not sure if it was on purpose, I hope not. It just feels like not a good even cut, and feel I need to get it touched up somewhere else. I don't want to be rude or mean in anyway, just giving my review. The first two haircuts were alright, but the barbers keep switching

Make is a true professional. I always get the full treatment: haircut, straight razor shave, waxing, beard color. Every time I come to Mak I leave happy. He never once complains about fitting clients in at the last minute. He is also a very good person and runs a shop with integrity. I will never go to another barber in my life. Mak is my dude

Mak,s is the best Barber in the countyWhy Mak's barbershop ? recently had the pleasure of visiting a professional barbershop and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel right at home.The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, with classic decor that gave off a vintage vibe. The barbers were all dressed in sharp suits and had a professional demeanor that immediately put me at ease.

Someone would do well to teach these guys what constitutes "half."First time going here, figured it would be pretty great to have a barber 2 minutes from my door. In hindsight I wish I'd gone further.Had to give the women who cut me instructions several times over (very basic undercut). She proceeded to cut off way more of my hair than I asked. I went in with around 7 inches of hair and after asking for half of it off I'm left with about 1. It's fine though, she enlightened me to the fact that it will grow back.Nice trick with my change, btw. You f*** up my hair and still expect a tip? AVOID. If you value your hair at all go literally anywhere else. Sports clips is cheaper and far superior.
