I've been going here for as long as I can remember. My cousins go here, my aunts and uncles, mom, sister, our whole family comes to Tita Lennie's, and there's a reason why we have been. She's been cutting my hair since I was a little girl, and she never disappoints. Very amiable, attentive, and courteous. Today we talked about how she remembers my grandma as well, it's always comforting and nostalgic coming to get my hair done with her. And Will keep coming here until I can't anymore.
Was looking forward to getting a haircut by Lennie and left disappointed. She lobbed my hair and now it's cut in a way where it doesnt 'flow' smoothly and is instead patches of uneven STRAIGHT layers instead of layers that 'fall' into each other. The way she cut it also made my thick hair frizzy when it dries which has not happened in the 30+ years i've been getting haircuts. The haircut was $65 and she wants cash, zelle or venmo. Wont be going again.
I did the color and cut here on June 25,2024. What I like is the service and the quality of color. I did not get itchy after applying the hair color. Usually other places, after applying the color, my scalp is freaking itchy! I did not experience the itchiness of my scalp in this place! I also love my layered cut! I will keep this place and go here moving forward! Thank you!
