This was the first gym I ever belonged to and I can't imagine having a better experience. I was nervous and anxious as a beginner at the gym and this community made me feel welcomed and accepted regardless of skill level immediately. Alice the owner takes the time to personally recognize everyone by name and introduce all members to each other because she truly cares about fostering an environment of comfort and confidence for everyone.

I love this gym- this is my safe haven for working out- especially for all of the anxious girlies! Alice is great and very caring. The gym itself is kept very clean and there are many machines to use if you would like. Very grateful for this gym in our community!

The Women's Athletic Club is the best gym I have ever been to. Not only is it incredibly clean, the staff are all so friendly. Owner, Alice, is the Jack of all trades. She makes certain all of her members feel welcome and at-home. The gym itself is secure and safe all hours of the day. I am incredibly lucky to be a member at the best all-women's gym in Santa Barbara.As a member here for 3 years, I notice the negative comment below. And I have to say, there is two sides to every story. I have NEVER had a negative experience while being here.
