My little cousin desperately needed guidance with her AP courses, and I was tasked with finding her the appropriate support. She worked with a few different instructors at SparkEd to cover the various courses, and all of them were amazing! They showed so much care and were definitely knowledgeable in their subjects. My cousin loved working with them so much that she also got help from SparkEd on her college application essays... and she ended up getting acceptances to a handful of schools that we thought would be out of her reach! We hired a tutor from SparkEd to help our daughter with her college application essays. Most importantly, the tutor helped her understand expectations and write with her own voice. Ms Lee went above and beyond, making herself available on a short notice several times when deadlines were getting closer, sometimes even on holidays, and always giving great professional feedback promptly. Our daughter ended up being able to send well-crafted application essays to a double-digit number of colleges, well before their deadlines, avoiding stressful last-minute rush, and by Christmas a few acceptance letters had already started trickling in. Stephen was very helpful and well-informed as a tutor for the GRE. He seemed very knowledgeable from the get-go and was able to answer all my cursory questions before we got into the "meat" of the lessons. Despite not being prepared for my session with him and my low pre-test score, he was not judgmental and was eager to help me.Stephen had quick, easy to remember acronyms to help me in the math section. And had little tips to help me with test-taking. In the end, while I decided to postpone taking my test, I am still using the strategies he gave me to prepare myself for next year. Thanks Stephen!

I reached out to SparkEd Academy for help preparing for my GRE's and I couldn't be happier with my results! After taking my GRE diagnostic, I knew I needed targeted help in the quantitative section and a general review for the verbal. SparkEd was wonderful - great instructors with lots of experience and a smoothly run, education first business that still made scheduling (and re-scheduling appointments) and payment easy.I worked with Stephen Park for quantitative tutoring and he truly lived up to his stellar reputation. Not only is Stephen expertly versed in all the concepts tested on the quantitative section of the GRE, his depth and breadth of experience in standardized testing allowed him to guide me on "how" to study for and approach the test as well.
