    New policy from HD the supervisor in store told me " no return without receipt " I forgot to ask for her name young straight blonde hair lady . I bought a thermostat to replace an old one in the house but the repair man told me the old one still working good so I don't need a new one anymore. But somehow I couldn't find the receipt that I paid cash for it and HD won't accept it. Not even store credit! I've been shopping here for many years and spent hundred thousand with them and only this thermostat cost $35. And they won't take it back WTH. I'm so upset and never go back here again... go to Low's from now on .

    Clean. I actually saw a guy on appliances vacuuming under the washer and dryers and wiping down the products!!! Wow. Your store is very clean. Am here to purchase shelving of 56 inches long. They do not sell it this size in " precut shelves" Roamed around and found MDF lumber in longer lengths and they me length of 56 inches. Yippie. Thank you Home Depot. Thank you to the you g man who cut this for me.

    I rented out a jackhammer and a generator because I had no electrical where I was working. Both items was recommended by the clerk at Home Depot. I get them out to the job and generator kept blowing the breaker. it would not run the jackhammer I called Home Depot talk to the same clerk said bring it back in and we won't charge he said it was OK to bring back in the next day and then The clerk that was working that day said we had to charge you no matter what and then I got the store manager over there and she says the same thing either way I should've been charged anything but then again, they quoted me $173.00 for both items they were trying to get to $243for not even a 24 hour period and this is supposedly the store manager. I do not recommend anybody renting anything from Home Depot W. Valley Parkway. The manager is unprofessional!!! Manager usually ask questions but not this one. and I had a customer tell me a 2000 watt generator would not run that jackhammer.

    In general, the prices at Home Depot are good, especially when they are having a sale. And the actual specialists (in appliances, flooring, window coverings, doors, etc.) are all knowledgeable and efficient once you are able to speak with them. But good luck finding available staff to help you. We've been coming to this store for since it was built (maybe 25 years). It used to be a bit of a challenge to get help, especially on weekends, but now the store is so understaffed (even midweek) that it's incredibly frustrating. For example, I stopped by last week and spent 30 minutes waiting at the flooring/window covering desk without ever seeing anyone in that department. I tried flagging down the frequent HD staff walking past (to/from the staff room at the back), and one said they would alert the person. But no one showed up for 15 minutes. While waiting, I tried calling that department via the store's phone number only to listen to the phone next to me ring and ring with no one ever picking up. Three days later, rather than wait around at the store in vain, I tried to call to place an order. Someone from another department picked up and said that the (one and only) associate in that department was in the middle of a large order that would take several hours and that I should try calling again later. Four days later, I called again, and again, someone in another department told me that the associate in the department I needed was really busy, that I might have better luck if I came in person. Really, it shouldn't be this hard to place an order. Given these recent experiences, I asked to speak to the store manager. I wanted to explain what happened to me and suggest that they 1) increase the staffing to more than one person per department, 2) cross-train associates so there is more than one person who can do the work, and/or 3) take the phone numbers of those who have waited (either in person or called in) so that their associates can call back when they are free to help these customers. The associate on the phone tried to dissuade me from speaking to the manager by arguing that they will tell me the same but ultimately agreed. But after waiting on hold for the store manager for more than 50 minutes, no one never picked up. That pretty much sums up how this Home Depot treats its customers.

    Seems like there are always problems with this particular location. Ordered tile, had it shipped to my house for $79 delivery fee. Half of them weren't even the correct tile. So I had to drive back and return it and buy the new one. What was the point of paying $79 then? Home Depot customer service told me it was just a mistake and to kick rocks Then later I went to go buy 6 pieces of small lumber, and 3 pieces of big lumber. I got charged for 6 pieces of the big lumber and 3 of small lumber instead. Customer service made me drive back into the store to have it fixed. Constantly wasting my time with careless mistakes and making me jump through hoops to get my money back after they pretty much scammed me by giving me the wrong item or scanning the wrong thing

    Kevin gave me GREAT service and assistance with an order delivery issue. He is the best! An order was delivered to me without a Home Depot bag and items left in an inappropriate place outside my door. Kevin helped to resolve this and also let me know that I should expect the items to be in a plastic bag and that the driver should not have removed that to leave the items out in the open on the ground. I am relieved to know that this was a delivery person error and that HD wants to make sure that I get my items in a clean manner. Kevin reassured me of this!

    This is from Bryan who helped me at the customer service desk, incredibly proactive in dealing with the situation and finding what to do next. He actively reached out to corporate to understand the situation and get me answers. Couldn't have asked for better service.
