Afia, is great at what she does! She takes a lot of care and takes the time to check that she removed all the hair before sending you on your way. It may take longer than the 15 minutes at some of the other popular wax chains but it's well worth the time. Sugaring seems to hurt less after the very first session and the hair grows back softer and not so prickly. I highly recommend her!
I wish more of Afiya's client would leave reviews, because there is no doubt in my mind they are all 5 stars. I know there is one review about not being called back, (I had no issue), but don't let that deter you from a fantastic sugaring experience. I had a Brazilian with hard wax and a inefficient waxer 6 years ago. I never had one again. Traumatizing. Then I heard about sugaring recently. I actually made my own and have sugared my legs twice on my own. I was greatly surprised at it being virtually pain free! I got to thinking...should I try a Brazilian again? Afiya is amazing !! She has a small studio right in the middle of downtown which is easily accessible...she is friendly, sweet, hard working and dedicated to providing professional service..definitely a place I will continue to go
