Took myself and my 3 boys here today. Found out it is under new management. All 4 of us got good cuts, Jessie the new owner is a cool personal dude and made my youngest feel really good and proud of his new hair-do. John cut my hair and faded it to perfection. We will definitely be back. Good local barber shop with good vibes?

MARCELO has been cutting my hair for the past 5 years. He has the first barber chair on the left as you walk in. I live in Encinitas but travel to Oceanside just to get my hair cut by Marcelo. He remembers how I like it because I am a regular customer. (By the way, he is off on Mondays)This is the best value around and it also is one of the few remaining barber shops not run by corporate America. I'd rather most of my payment goes to the guy who does the actual work, rather than the corporate shops that pay barbers a measly salary, and send most of the revenue to a hedge fund!Marcelo does a great job, and is a very pleasant guy. I was out early checking out the farmers market on a Thursday morning and happened along this barber shop. I needed a haircut so I walked in to see what the wait would be. I found the owner alone in the shop and he took me right in. I wasn't sure what to expect but he was so fast and he did exactly what I asked him to do. I couldn't have asked for a better cut and he was so fast too. I would recommend Beachcomber Barber Shop for anyone needing a cut in the Oceanside area. Don't be scared away by the simple shop and not a lot of advertising. You won't be disappointed.
