I was driving on the 79 today and while driving the speed limit plus about 7 mph, a work truck was getting closer and closer to my bumper. It then sped up to well over 85 mph to pass me. After passing me it continued to drive WAY too fast. Not a good look for the business.

I requested a quote from baker after having another company come check out my AC unit. I had a quote from them and just wanted a to see if I could get a competitive bid. After I contacted Baker Home Energy though Angi, they asked if they could send a tech over. I told them no and sent them the info from my original quote. They asked if they could have a phone appointment and I agreed and scheduled. Before that scheduled time I was informed a tech was on their way to my house. Where I was NOT, since I was expecting a phone appointment. I called 877-578-8080 to sort it out and they did not have a record of the phone appointment. I told them to cancel the tech visit and I would look elsewhere. Unfortunate waste of time and energy.

Requested online service appointment, and it was confirmed online. I called on the day of the appointment, concerned that they were late, and they said they had no open appointments for me and none available until a week later. Their online system cannot be trusted. Recommend you call and talk to someone in person. Will let you know how the service went.

We had an awesome experience with Baker for our heating and air conditioning job, and especially with Dom and Eddie! They were very professional, communicated well, and finished in a timely manner. We appreciated their help and knowledge throughout the project. They were also wonderful with our dog Ellie! Thanks again!!

We have had the solar panels now for several months are very happy with how this entire project worked out-- practically seamless from start to finish. We were able to utilize more efficient PV panels which enabled us to avoid placing any on the front of our home, which was one of our objectives. I was very impressed that the crew cleaned up around our home each day during our project. We were also given daily progress reports and photos by our crew. This is a top-notch company. Highly recommend. Special shout-out to our Foreman, Alfredo Lubiano, Team Lead, JC Solorzano, and crew, Aaron, Bryant A., Adrian R., and Luis Zamora.

Furnace repair: baker said furnace was overheating and flashing codes because of not enough ducts. Seemed strange to us furnace has been installed 7 years prior and worked with exising ducts. After adding ducts an other repairs recommended, furnace e is now out of action and flashing the same code after less than a year Zero rating

**********, *********. Having poor experience with contractors in the past, I wasn't looking forward to replacing the electric box and rewiring this 1970's house back to compliance. I am pleased to say the week long experience was quite pleasant, far exceeding the expectations of not only myself but my husband-wife. There is still a lot of work to be done on this house, but if I need more electric work done I know whom I will be calling. I do want credit for this experience to go to ****. While the job site was technically Rob's, it was **** handling all of the interactions, making fine changes, and being the visual representation of the company. At multiple times he stopped us from taking the 'quick and easy' route in order to ensure the job was done properly. Due to this outlook, and the amount of work done on this house, I am completely reassured that the wiring isn't going to cause any more problems. My only regret was finding a serious unrelated plumbing problem that will consume the rest of my funds. Would have liked to talk to your company about expanding the solar panels. At this point it will need to be a later project, but **** has ensured you a repeat customer.

I've had experience with 2 other solar companies before working with Baker, so I have some comparative experience to give some perspective to my experience with Baker.I had a new 32-panel **** kW system installed in December 2021 which has been running near-flawlessly since it was turned on. The one issue I did have happened in April 2022, just as the panel arrays were starting to hit their peak production around noon each day. A circuit breaker on one of the arrays kept tripping at mid-day.I notified Baker and they promptly came out to diagnose the problem. The tech discovered that the panel arrays (on micro inverters) weren't properly balanced across the circuit breakers, so one had more panels than it should connected to it. The problem was corrected a few days later.Overall, I'm very satisfied with only a couple of nits. During the installation (which was admittedly at a rush time at the end of the year in 2021) the roofing was sent out to a sub, rather than being done by Baker, so communication during the roof prep was not great. I left messages by phone, text and email with the ** to ask about progress and scheduling changes, but response turnaround was slow and it was hard to get information. That said, they managed to get the SDG&E notice to permit activating the system before the end of the year, despite some weather that led to some delays, and the installation crew were all very professional and efficient. The sales rep was very responsive as a backup when I couldn't get through to the ** or needed some help getting information.Of the other 2 companies I deal with in the past, 1 of which abruptly went out of business (around the same time I was completing my Baker project), this has been a refreshingly positive experience.

Any electrical company who would drill into a conduit to repair water leaking into an inverter should not be licensed to do electrical work! It is the quickest, easiest way to possibly give the water an exit. I have never seen any practice endorsed by the National Electric Code!!!!!!! A company whose profits are put above safety and common electrical sense is likely to shortcut installations in every way for profits. As a Master Electrician I am curious as to how could an electrician drill into conduit without knowing what this practice could do to conductors in conduit. What is even worse is that this company whose workers are represented by the IBEW, that has a Code of Excellence would have employees who would disagree with common sense safe electrical practices in doing such a irresponsible "repair."

So strange . I had a zoom appointment for Solar on Thursday . They were nice and informative . Although warned me against installing solar on my existing tile roof of 30 years ( that could last 50 ) . I requested a savings comparison with electric ( which every other offer this has been included ) the tech seemed a little baffled . It is now Tuesday ( Monday was technically a holiday President's Day ) and still no written proposal . I called , what I think was a call center and they said they would escalate it . What a waste of their time to go through an hour or so zoom with no follow through .
