I hired Debra to set up a Family Trust. I thought it would be a quick process, but the more complications I threw at her I realized a trust does need to be done thoroughly and taken into account a ton of situations I had not envisioned. She gave us terrific advice and was very accommodating with our schedules. The process was shorter than I expected, even though she had to take into account a tremendous amount of details. I recommend her services. There's no substitute for experience.

After interviewing 3 different estate planning attorneys I chose Debra Koven who was a referral from a friend. I am very happy with my decision to hire her because she made the entire process very easy, efficient, and painless. It was important to me to hire someone who could administer the plan. Not all estate attorneys do this. I found her fee to be reasonable considering her service is not a one and done. She revisits in 3 years in case there are updates or changes. After losing close family members recently I realized how important it is to have a plan in place. I am glad that I no longer have to worry about this.

Do not use this attorney to create or amend a trust if you are a senior - you may die before she gets it done. Not only that, but she never returned my phone calls or emails. But she is very good at self promotion. I am getting a new lawyer.

Debra made such a tough task actually enjoyable. It is so important to set up your family for the future, even if it is a hard thing to do. Debra explained everything to us so simply and made it easy to put together our estate plan. This is something EVERY parent needs to do for their children. As a parent, Debra understands how important it is to set your family up for the future. She explains the process simply and is with you every step of the way. Unless you want the State to take $$$ away from your kids when you die, I would advise you to see her and get an estate plan on paper NOW. Great experience making a Living Trust with Debra. This is her specialty so she knows all the ins and outs and options and was fantastic at explaining things in terms we could understand. She does not nickel and dime you: we called and emailed her with a ton of questions throughout the process and did not receive a bill for that which we really appreciated. So glad to have finally taken care of this and can sleep easier knowing our kids are taken care of!
