I think that the bad reviews are all over a year old, and please note that the manicurist change so the salon has been great based off my experience. I'm a student and when I need my nails done I go here because it's the cleanest one in the area and the ladies there are very nice! I know some of them now and I could speak the same language as them and they are wonderful. I recommend coming here despite the bad reviews because nail techs have changed and also their techniques have improved a lot since I've been going here. Also, it is the cheapest for the area too!

This place is really only good for basic mani and pedi's. I have come a gazillion times and every time I ask them to do something outside of something basic, they talk me out it because they either don't know how or takes more time. Don't expect to do fancy designs, acrylics, ombré, or anything too trendy or new. They're about a 3 star clean and most every time I've been there, they're playing Miss you Universe. I've left many times with a color I didn't want, a shape, or I ask for other services like gel tips and they say no just get a regular gel mani. I'm going on the hunt for a different mani place since I've left there unsatisfied so many times.

I received a gel manicure at Instyle Nails and it seemed really great at first but within one week the gel polish on my middle finger just peeled off! Over the next few days the polish around several other nails began to detach from the nail. I get gel manicures all the time, so I know that I wasn't doing anything to encourage this. I think either the technician painted on my cuticules so when the nails grew out there was space for moisture to get under the polish, or because they painted the polish too thick. I am bummed because I really wanted to like the salon.
