Let’s talk about Kaya!! Kaya is a gem of a yoga studio nestled in a little north Huntington strip mall...and without places like Google and Yelp to read reviews, you may just pass it by. But you would be making a big mistake. Not only is this sacred space home to a fabulous group of yogis, it is ALSO the BEST massage spot in town!!!! I had a massage with Ashley, and let me tell you, it was transformational! Ashley is a master of anatomy, and can access tension holding places in your body, you never even knew possible. It was truly the best massage I have ever gotten. And if you’re wondering if I get massages often.. Yes, I’ve been around the block several times...read full review
I love Gilbert's classes because of the thoughtful and creative sequencing. This is refreshing, as I teach yoga as well as have been practicing for eleven years. I love getting monthly massages from Ashley. She helps me feel a lot better as I am a runner and my legs get especially sore. I'm also a public middle school teacher and the knots in my back/neck are a reflection of that stress! She helps immensely with that. The studio is clean and super welcoming.
I have had the wonderful opportunity to go to Kaya Yoga Remedy over the last couple years. They have been an amazing studio for me. I started out here in yoga and started with their yoga 101 classes and then worked up from there to take both open level Vinyasa classes and level classes. The owners Gilbert and Ashley are amazing. They are not just amazing teachers but keep a spiritual practice. They make you feel like family. All of the instructors are great. The help with form has been especially helpful for me. I absolutely recommend them.
