This was the best experience I've ever had in 30 years of furnace repair. HVAC repair folks are generally severely backed at the start of the cold weather so I'm quite used to spending several weeks without heat whenever my system goes on the fritz. Kevin, from Blake's, however, came by the day after I called, diagnosed the faulty board on my furnace, and ordered a new part; this was on a Friday. The staff called on Monday to say they'd gotten the part and had Kevin come back that afternoon to install it. He checked over the system and answered a number of HVAC questions for me. Great service from Blake's to improve the function of our AC - Doug called ahead, came over on time, explained everything, gave us a range of options, didn't try to pressure us to replace anything that could be repaired, fixed the issue right there and then, and made sure it was working better. He was friendly and a pleasure to deal with (and things were pretty chaotic over here with a lot going on!), and the cost of the service was really affordable. He also kindly wore a mask which I really appreciated since we're being extra cautious at the moment.
