I no longer see Dr. Thaik, but I will be forever greatful to her for her understanding and compassion during a horrific time. I had been badly damaged, head to toe, by Cipro (a chemo drug masquerading as an antibiotic.) I lost a year of my life to terrifying mental and physical side effects, that included a large pericardial effusion, which was my reason for seeing Dr. Thaik. I had been to a dozen different MDs explaining what happened to me and they were all dismissive...except Dr. Thaik. She just started taking copious notes, and shaking her head. I had found Dr. Thaik on google after feeling like every doctor I am seeing is just bum rushing me out of their office when I CLEARLY feel something feels wrong. She spent 2.5 hours with me on my first appointment trying to understand me and help me resolve the issues I am feeling and ordering tests that were NEVER ordered by my other doctors. I felt like she heard me and was doing everything she can to assure me that she is going to help me figure it out. Her staff (Jeanette) is amazing as well. I will be switching doctors.

Dr. Thaik is a great person to speak with if you want the straight truth about what's going on with your heart. She is a straight shooter. I admire that. She is honest and tells you what you need to be have a heathy heart. I like doctors that tell you the truth about your lifestyle and how that incorporates to heart health. Her credentials are immaculate. Most cardiac doctors want you to take a great deal of medication Dr. Thaik prescribes lifestyle adjustments.
