10 STARS for Sonny!!! Was going for my first haircut in 2+ years and my first in Berkeley. Sonny was incredibly patient and thorough in listening/determining what style would suit me best. Even walked me through a couple different looks and crafted his recommendations based on my hopes. All in all the haircut took over an hour but still charged the flat rate of $35....ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! Totally highway robbery considering the quality of the cut and time involved (so bring a healthy bit of cash for tip :) He even took the effort to artfully package my clippings for donation (see below). Sonny is a professional. He won't be chatty because he focuses on your hair. He has cut my hair with precision, technique & has given me the best haircuts of my life and I won't forget them. He uses professional tools, and his salon is sleek, modern & clean.
