built my first pc and had trouble at one point since i knew close to nothing about computers. brought it here and i would give more than 5 stars if i could. they are extremely nice, knowledgeable, they told me i might need to buy an ssd and they were right. if you are going ANYWHERE in richmond for pc repair, this is where you have to go. cannot recommend them enough. even explained things to me in depth when i picked up the pc. 10/10

I brought my 2017 IMac in to get RAM installed because it was ridiculously slow, Benson quickly noticed that is was my hard drive that was the issue, he updated me with what he found and said that my HD was damaged with lots of bad sector. He recommended I upgrade to a Solid State HD. He completed the job on time. He offered to migrate the data but I chose to do it myself at home. I struggled a little but finally figured out how to do it with the Commend - Option - R keys to restore. Now, I beyond pleased how FAST my computer is running. I would highly recommend Powersonic to anyone looking for Mac and PC repair and upgrade. They are kind and know what they are doing....read full review

Thankfully they're still around for over 28 years. Let's hope they'll be around for another 28 years but I imagine they'll need to move again. They're as good as ever. Rates and prices are a bit higher than other stores, but you do get reliability which is rare these days.
