A bunch of us were in town for a family reunion and wanted to check in with Ryan to see if he was available to do a bunch of matching flash tattoos for us on a whim. We knew it was a long shot being last minute on such a busy weekend in the area so obviously it didn’t happen but he still responded to us super quick and tried to hook us up even though it was his birthday and he was out mountain biking in Whistler! Five star guy, we really appreciated the vibe even without the tattoos due to our own lack of planning ?(Also 5 star neighbours. We had like four locals stop to hype him up and tell us the best ways to get a hold of him while we were standing outside the shop ?)

Last weekend I took my nephew to get his first tattoo... a simple band around his wrist of 3 mountains. Ryan immediately put my nephew to ease and talked him through it all. There was just an energy and calmness that Ryan projected which made me impulsively decide to have him start the work on a calf sleeve I've been thinking of for the past few years. I have absolutely no artistic skills so the idea is explaining my vision to a stranger and trusting that he could start the process made me really nervous (hence the 3+years of wanting this piece but never moving forward with it). After a 20 minutes of meeting with Ryan, I just knew he understood. He asked if he could free hand it and I didn't hesitate. After 3 hours, I walked away with something that was even better than I could have imagined. He not only took my vision but improved it to something that blew my mind. I got goosebumps and teared up a little when I saw it. If you're looking for an artist that listens to you and can help make your vision come to life, I would highly recommend you give Ryan a shot!!
