I have seen Pamela a handful of times over several years- a couple of times for tension knots in shoulders and neck, once for foot and joint pain, and yesterday for a shoulder injury that seemed not to be getting better. I went away each time with minimal or no pain, instructions to continue healing, and and overall sense of path to healing. Pam knows how to heal and does this with competence and compassion. I have had many massages to try to address these same pains but Pam's acupuncture treatment is by far, for me, clearly more effective. I had never tried acupuncture before but I highly recommend Pam to anyone looking to try it or continue. For the most part you cannot feel the needles go in so thats wonderful. Even if you can I wouldn’t say it hurts exactly. It hurts less than being pinched in my opinion.
I waited a while to write a review to see how I felt. I certainly need to go back for another session but the first one already helped with some neck and back pain I was having. She can really pin point where you’re hurting when you give her a general area. It was impressive. I think of myself as a healthy skeptic. BUT. This was my first experience of acupuncture, and I have to say that Pam has already made me a believer! I’ve had some intermittent chronic neck pain for at least a decade now; an MRI scan showed that there are two bulging discs in my neck. Usually, I ice it or ignore it, but the aches had been really getting to me lately, interfering with my sleep & attempts at meditation practice. So, I looked up local acupuncturists, and I chose Pam. I chose her because of her three decades of experience, her multiple licenses and certifications, and the glowing reviews on her website.
