“Some confusion because Google sent me to the wrong address at first but I still made the appointment and I am glad I didn't go elsewhere-She gave me the best haircut I have ever gotten in my entire life!! Worth every penny. To be clear my hair was messed up by my brother who gave me a COVID haircut and then at another salon...So I was beyond traumatized and just trying to salvage my hair for a job interview.My hair is not able to be the haircut I want because it's too mangled.But Rose was able to take that mangled hair and make it look decent!!!?I'm longer embarrassed to go outside nor feel frumpy because of my messed up hair.She clearly asked me to communicate my expectations, likes pictures to make sure we are on the same page, and explained the limitations we had to give me the haircut I want because of my hair type, and lack of hair (too short to form the angled look) but guess what?She still gave me the closest thing to it despite all of those issues.She also asked me honestly if I plan to iron my hair or just wash and dry when I go out and I answered honestly that I never fix my hair so she adapted the cut for my lifestyle.She's done such an incredible job and I feel fortunate I found such a treasure living close to home in Lakewood WA.She's slightly more expensive at $45 per cut but she's worth it. I called Shears to You the next morning and spoke with Michelle who was able to get me in that same morning to rescue me. I went in and was taken care of with excellent care by Bridget who fixed my horrid situation and made it look wonderful. I cannot thank them enough and highly recommend. My new salon!!!“

“Our loyalty to Austin is to the point of after she came back to Washington we immediately came back. We were so sad when she left us and over the moon when we heard she was back! Austin has been my kiddos hair stylist for years. During a time when they are figuring themselves out and as teens where a bad haircut can be devastating. Austin talks to my kids. She listens to them. With my youngest I’ll pipe in if they are struggling to share their vision but she never talks past them to me or treats them like they are “just kids”. She gave my eldest her first experience with bleach, of which I was hesitant, but she was amazing and it turned out absolutely adorable! Then her first highlights and now keeps her platinum in a manner which Marilyn Monroe would approve! My youngest has sensory issues and she is so sweet and accommodating and never makes them feel like they are weird or a hassle. I only get my hair cut like every five years and sadly she was out of state for my last one but best believe when I go back in that she will be my go to! Being a military family we’ve been through a LOT of hairstylists and so when I say that Austin is not only our favorite as a human, she is also the one we feel safest coming to for our hair, it’s really saying something.The salon is very pretty and so clean, and bonus it’s adjacent to the owners store Pine and Moss and it’s so much fun shopping while waiting for my youngest! Every time I come in I have to start all over from one end to the other because she has so much fun stuff and always new merch!“
