“We had a leak on our roof around our chimney and we were told by 2 contractors and the insurance adjuster that the top of the chimney was damaged and needed a new cap. (All three of these professionals walked the roof to inspect and came to the same conclusion). I remembered that approx. 20 yrs ago, in a different house, Cox roofing replaced our roof and built a new porch. So I called them for my 4th estimate and was told by Mr. Cox that the roof around the chimney felt weak and the top of the chimney didn't appear damaged. He recommended that we repair the roof around the chimney and if we still saw the leak we would revisit the chimney top. I am not rolling in dough so this sounded wonderful. They gave me a quote and while I was at work I received a text with pictures of the completely rotted roof around the chimney that they were tearing out. It was horrible. My son arrived home before I did and Mr. Cox was gone the roof was beautiful!!! and there was a bill taped to the door along with a piece of the damaged plywood roof. The job was deeper than they expected and his price was more than reasonable. I am so grateful for his honesty and his professional work. Did I say how beautiful our roof looks and that you cannot even tell where he tied in the new shingles!!!!! 20+ years and I received the exact same professional and HONEST service!!!!!! I cannot sing their praises ehogh for how grateful I am!!! P.S. 2 nights after the repair we had a huge rain storm And....Not a drop of water anywhere!!!!!“
