I have a very sweet, but very shy Boston terrier, especially when I try to take her new places (park, river walk, etc). She freezes up and refuses to walk or tries to get back in the car. After working with Tom, I know I have the tools to continue working with Minnie to make her more comfortable whenever we go to a new location or she’s in an unfamiliar environment. I know it’ll be a lifelong process with her anytime we go somewhere new, but I now know how to manage my expectations and work with her in new situations. So thankful!
Great place and great service, helped my realize a lot of the issues I had with my dog were because I did not know what I was doing. Gave me all the tools to help me learn the best way to help my dog. Very attentive to beginner questions and ultimately just want the dog owner to understand how to best manage the relationship with the dog. Highly highly recommend if you feel you and your dog need training on how to best understand each other

The bridge and reward skill of giving a command, saying yes, then giving a treat has stuck- we now skip the treat most...read full review
