“Davey TreeFantastic, excellent service.The tree, was a humongous white oak.The crews were excellent.Due to the need for PECO to de-energize the power lines, it took three 6 hours days, from 8am to 2pm, over 9 months.The crews carefully planned how they were going to remove the tree.Where to set the crane for maximum reach and easy of lowering the limbs/branches and the trunk.There were no wasted motion. They worked with safety as a priority.Top men made sure that their safety lines were properly positioned, and ground crews clear.The crews constantly worked the job, with those on the ground, feeding the chipper, or constantly cleaning.When the chain saw man was waiting, he was sharpening his chain saw.Complete coordination with crane operator.With the last of the tree, which was the main trunk, requiring eight huge sections, coordination with the two removal truck drivers and crane operator was accomplished with minimum effort.Tim, my sales man, posted signs one to two days ahead of the work.
