Sunday 05/19/2019, hubby Tony and I was traveling Lincoln Memorial Highway Rt 30 outside of Somerset PA on our way to the Flight 93 Memorial when I saw a sign for covered bridge Trostletown, so I made the quick Right and off for a side adventure. We only had to travel down the road about a mile into the LIONS PARK to see the Covered Bridge and to my great pleasure there was several things to see as my hubby calls a PHOTO OP...LOL I was able to get some wonderful photos of the Trostletown Covered Bridge (which has a wagon inside) also in the park there was an old Stoystown Train Depot, a one room school house (white) a Army Tank and Army Helicopter ( I supplied photos as part of my PHOTO OP at this lovely FREE Park located off route 3007 near Stoystown PA I was very glad I found this little park that also has picnic tables and a bandstand with a Lions Club House (for the drinks, food and did I mention drinks???)
