Action Karate has made such a big difference to our kiddo! The instructors and leaders are all so warm and helpful. We've watched our child's confidence grow on and off the mat. So grateful our child gets to be part of this caring community!

My son had a FANTASTIC birthday party here last weekend. A team of staff members welcomed each guest, planned an engaging karate lesson, cut and served pizza, and did a special samurai sword cake cutting with the birthday boy. It was a delight!

We came to Action Karate by way of their after school programs at my children’s school. The family friendly environment and consistent reinforcement of character and discipline have been wonderful. The staff is caring and knowledgeable. They provide opportunities for continued growth and they always celebrate the accomplishments of the students whether tots or adults. Not only has my son committed to the black belt process, my husband has as well! It is a wonderful community to be a part of.

Action Karate Mt. Airy is a character-based martial arts school. Action Karate is a Black Belt school with a customized curriculum focused on improving confidence, focus, self-discipline and fitness. Children in martial arts gain life skills and learn real self-defense on how to protect themselves and others. Students gain leadership skills that help for success in life. Classes start at age 3 focusing on martial arts kicks, punches, manners and skills for social and academic settings. Adults in martial arts are empowered to set and meet goals and improve their overall health and fitness, while learning practical self-defense techniques.
