“I took a flow 1.5 class today with Georgette. It was excellent. She takes the time to check on all the students with individualized instruction and encouragement. She keeps things moving with time for mini breaks between strenuous routines. All of this along with her sense of humor make her a fabulous instructor!!!“
“My experience at Mellow Massage was fabulous! I was given a gift card which was what led me to check it out and I was not disappointed! The staff was very friendly. I worked with J and she was fabulous! She made sure I was comfortable, helped me relax and gave a me a wonderful massage! Would definitely recommend and I hope to be back soon!“
“Tula yoga has been providing Yoga classes for students ages 1-5 at my local preschool. The teachers are professional and loving. They make the classes exciting for the children. Their studio is located in the heart of Northern Liberties. It is beautiful and clean. They offer unique classes and even have drop-off special events for children to attend while parents have a night out. We love this place!“
“Love this yoga studio! Truly focuses on your whole body through their offerings of a variety of classes, workshops and instructors, along with massage, reiki and reflexology practitioners. It is a lovely space in which I have been warmly welcomed by both patrons and staff. Grateful to have found this yoga community.“
“Ashley was extremely welcoming for my first visit. She gave me the tour and made sure I was comfortable. Her class had calming energy and was totally unpretentious. It made me want to come back and made everyone there feel really comfortable. Thank you.“
“Curran helped my daughter resolve some nervous system issues and after 2 sessions my kiddo was on her way to doing better! Highly recommend. Plus her studio space is awesome. Cozy and calm.“
“Love the hot yoga classes! Great teachers that help you move through each movement while remaining focused inward.“
“What a delightful gem! The energy is warm and soft and the flavored waters upon welcoming are divine. So far, I've tried Lynn and Dana for massages and they were both extremely talented. I feel like butter now after my second massage with Lynn...this is my new place! I heard they have rose essential oil facial massages and I would love to try this soon too.“
“Best yoga studio around. Beautiful, clean space, excellent teachers, good vibes. Wish I still lived close by!“
“I feel fortunate to have found this studio over 7 yrs ago. I've practiced in person and virtually at Blue Banyon Yoga. Began taking yoga classes over 40 yrs ago. Hands down, these are the finest, most experienced, healthy, vibrant, attentive, well educated instructors I've ever encountered. I credit my current spine health which has had past needed surgical intervention to my practice and attention to the education I've received at Blue Banyan Yoga.“
“Relax Therapy Spa is definitely a hidden gem in Chestnut Hill. The serene location provides a wonderful setting for yoga classes and a variety of massage services. The Surrender Reset is a must do for an elevated self-care experience. Don’t hesitate - you will be restored and refreshed after spending time with Gilda.“
“I took Vince’s beginner House class for the first time and it was great! He spent time going over the body mechanics and broke down the movement to make it very digestible. The pacing was great and had a lot of fun. Highly recommend :)“
“This journey, if you choose to take it, is a life changing one.For me, getting into the Intermediate class is when I really got the high of jiu-jitsu, becuase thats where essentially all sparring happens and you really start getting in touch with the art, the people, and the work. Really loved it but I got a concussion during a very intense standing spar (not very common in this sport). Being a grad student, this was really bad, but Phil and the team listened to what happened and helped me out.“
“Jen is a gifted and transformational healer. She is deeply invested in her callings and her work is a reflection of her huge heart! Jen inspires awareness and attunement to each individual’s truth through a variety of modalities. She maintains the brightness of a beginners mind with expert experience. I am immensely grateful to Jen for the way she shares and supports with her gifts and talents!“
“I have trained with Richard Robinson sensei for over 20 years, and have visited his dojo when I am in PA many, many times. This is a great place to learn and train in martial arts. Robinson sensei has Black Belts in multiple styles, and is a most talented instructor in Nami ryu Aiki Heiho. The folks in the dojo are great to train with. There are a handful of instructors who share decades of experience in this dojo. If you like swords, jujutsu, and samurai lore, and live in the Philly/Ft. Washington area, you want to check out the River of Life Martial Arts \\u0026 Wellness Center.“
“EveryBody Movement and Wellness is a fantastic studio. I have been taking pilates classes here for several months and have been delighted with my experience. I had no prior experience with pilates but it quickly became a significant part of my life.I have taken pilates classes with Gabi, Kalila, and Megan. They are all wonderful and bring their own unique vibes to their classes. They are knowledgeable about body mechanics and modifications for different injuries or body types, and provide tips on how to adjust the challenge level of an exercise. From what I have observed they are also truly welcoming to different body types, genders, etc. and the studio is a nonjudgmental space where it's easy to focus on doing the work. Class sizes are also small (especially equipment classes) so you can get personal attention if needed. If you want a gentler, chiller workout (especially if you, like me, had bad gym class experiences, or if you have injuries or other restrictions to work around) that is still challenging and gets results I highly recommend taking classes here. My body looks better, but more importantly, I feel like I can move and function in ways previously unknown to me. I also have a lot more awareness of my body and how it's feeling. Pilates has been a very positive addition to my life and I am thankful to Julia and the instructors at EveryBody. If you're on the fence about trying it, just go for it.“
“I always leave here in better shape than I arrived, very understanding and communicative“
“The yoga classes at Hummingbird have made a huge difference in my health! When I started up with yoga again I had severe pain in my left leg and couldn’t stand or walk without agony. Now, I am A-OK! Additionally, I have enjoyed the other overall benefits of practicing yoga; calmness, flexibility, and being able to fit into my smaller jeans :-). Monika Lee“
“Started practicing a few months ago, and it has completely changed my outlook on health, and mindfulness. Nicole is a remarkable teacher, and inspires me to continue learning.“
“I am from out of town and was searching for a good hot yoga spot to pop in- this class was vibrant, the studio was lovely and heated. I did the “invigorate” flow. I left feeling relaxed and sweaty in a good way! Thanks bulldogs for having me!“
“Truly “home”! A warm and welcoming community, a beautiful space, knowledgeable and kind instructors, and a variety of class types plus special monthly workshops. Whether you’re new to yoga or more advanced in your journey, there is something for everyone at Yoga Home. Additionally, they do so many wonderful things for the Conshy community and beyond. Such a wonderful team and place!“
“Chris is simply the best. Deeply and broadly knowledgeable, non-judgmental and caring, attentive to individual needs and creative about finding ways to help in each specific situation. I first saw Chris for physical therapy almost 10 years ago on a recommendation from a physician, and just like that physician, I have been loyal to him ever since, whether for physical therapy, personal training, or for referrals to other skilled professionals.“
“I recently had a craniosacral massage at North Star Holistic Health to address a chronic rash issue, and I must say the experience exceeded my expectations. Blakey, my therapist, was absolutely amazing! Not only was the session incredibly relaxing, but I noticed a significant improvement in my skin's condition immediately after the massage. The redness had noticeably diminished, which was a huge relief for me.The entire atmosphere at North Star Holistic Health is calming and welcoming, and the staff's expertise is evident from the moment you walk in. Blakey's skill and knowledge in craniosacral massage truly made a difference in my well-being.I highly recommend North Star Holistic Health, especially if you're looking for holistic solutions to health concerns. Thank you, Blakey for the wonderful experience and the positive change in my skin. I'll definitely be returning for more sessions! ?????“
