I really enjoy coming to this studio! It's an incredibly convenient location, the machines are well kept, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The most important part though has been my overwhelmingly positive experience actually doing Pilates! I have had private sessions with Sofia Ameglio for several weeks and feel massive improvement in my posture and strength. The sessions are fabulous, connecting my mind to my body to my breathing. She really pushes me to be as strong as I can, while listening and under any limitations I may have- it's truly great. Her positivity and joy are infectious, and I love working with her. I recommend her to anyone - even if I grimace during the exercises sometime, I always leave with a smile!

I started my Pilates journey at Body Evolutions but at the UWS location. The instructors I've had are all amazing, so I was excited to try another instructor's class in a new location!Firstly, the Union Square location is beautiful! I mean, once you get into the studio, there are lots of plants, great sunlight, and a surprising amount of space. I was pleasantly surprised by the zen-ness of the studio, especially in such a populated area.The class I had was good, but I don't think I'll be going back to this instructor. They kept making slightly off handed comments in my direction, and underestimating my Pilates ability! Without asking, they made my springs lighter, and I ended up not getting much of a workout at all. Oh well. I won't let that one experience ruin Body Evolutions for me; they just weren't the instructor for me. But I've loved all the other instructors I've had! I'd definitely recommend checking out this location for the aesthetic!

My favorite pilates place in the city. It gets a bit crowded towards the evening so sometimes it is not easy to find an available spot last minute. But they have very good instructors and solid working equipment.Btw they often have promotions for their classes in-office or on Groupon, so it is a good opportunity to try this place for a cheaper price and see it for yourself.
