“I always get choked up in Amelia’s class. Her yoga class is the equivalent of “church” for the spiritual minded. It’s NOT just a yoga class let’s be clear. It’s a spiritual journey and I love everything she has to say during the flow. I’ll keep coming back every time I’m back in MN because this yoga studio is truly something special. Please don’t change a thing Amelia!!!! What you’re doing is changing and enriching lives. Thank you for being you. ❤️“
“Yoga instructors are super kind and uplifting during class. The owner is always responsive and generous. It is always refreshing to take a yoga class here. They keep the temperature around 78 degrees during classes.“
“As a long-term practitioner of Hot Yoga and new resident of Mpls, finding a great studio was critical to me. Mpls Yoga is one of the best studios I have ever been to. Every teacher is highly skilled and brings expertise and wisdom to each class. The warm, welcoming atmosphere is wonderful - as is the beautiful facility. I feel lucky every day I practice in this wonderful studio.“
“I am so glad we have this yoga studio in our community. All the classes and instructors are excellent. I love its cozy and welcoming environment.“
“Love this studio. Only 3 minutes from my house so I love that it's in the neighborhood, nice variety of classes and great instructors. I always feel comfortable and welcomed. Happy to have a membership here!“
“The best healthcare experience - every time by everyone I see. No matter your condition, consider making an appointment at Caron - they will fix what they can and will help you understand the care that another provider may need to give.“
“Love Shaila’s classes in general, and this one in particular. The timing is great; the venue is quiet and peaceful, and can either do yoga outside when it’s nice enough, or view outside when it’s not. Great students, too.“
“So far, I'm obesessed with the sauna services! The employees I've met so far have been very welcoming and kind. The smell in the air is wonderful and my old sore overweight body feels like it's being cared for in the most wonderful way. I feel that I am in good hands with this thoughtfully crafted space! This would be a fantastic place to stop in and buy a gift for a friend as well. I feel I can trust their products. The only thing that slightly irritated me is the "psychic" in the corner ignored my verbal greeting both on my way IN and on my way OUT of the store, I just laughed to myself and thought, my pockets are LOADED she must not be able to SENSE it and she'll speak to me when she feels like making some money. Infact; there seem to be a collection of older folks that shoot me death stares every single time I walk in, maybe relatives of the owners, irregardless thats not how we treat new customers, especially big spenders! Haha overall still a 5 star rating and thats my only complaint. I'm grateful to be here just gotta wear my hater shades. :) :)“
“I have been practicing yoga at UpYoga for the last year and a half and I have to say that the community, teachers, and the vibe is phenomenal. I have recently taken and gradutated from the Empowerment Program - 200 hr YTT and it has changed my life in so many ways for the better. I highly recommend this studio if you want to sweat, meet your edge, take up space and feel empowered in a very welcoming community.“
“Amazing yoga studio! So welcoming and comprehensive. The instructors even sometimes teach yoga in the park, which is delightful. With the yoga itself classes provide teaching regarding many facets of the self, life, consciousness, and growth among others. Also if you get a musical serenade during shavasana, it can truly elevate your day“
“I started off coming with Classpass, but I ended up getting an unlimited membership because I wanted to come here like every day! Have also referred a friend as well! Love YogaFit!!“
“Experiencing Tammy's work has been life changing for the chronic headaches, neck and shoulder pains I have been experiencing for over 20 years. She has gotten me down from excruciating pain levels to hardly a noticeable dull ache during a one hour session many times during the past few years that I have occasionally went to her for bodywork sessions. I have seen her more regularly recently and it has been very helpful in keeping me out of pain &/ a lot less. If I would be more diligent with the simple exercises she's showed me I would probably be living a pain free life. Do not hesitate to see Tammy if you have any pain &/ spine or other issues She really cares and will go out of her way to help, make herself avail and get you out of pain!“
“Carpe Diem is so incredible. Each teacher offers such a different perceptive on the practice of yoga. Whether that be breath, or posture, of movement, I just really appreciate the variety of ways to tap into my mind and body. I also have a membership for the sauna, cold plunge and red light therapy. It's always so clean and friendly. I love this studio“
“Just got done attending a class on zoom with William Prottengeier. You really should investigate this center and William's classes. Very clear and concise instructional style. Includes philosophical commentary and mind body breath, conceptualizations to help the student go within. Inspiring and humorous. I love his classes and the center.“
“I tried a yoga class that was not right for me because of fibromyalgia and sciatica. The teacher was great. She tried to adapt the poses and when that didn't work she said she wasn't going to charge me so I could use the credit for a more gentle class.“
“I have been meeting on Zoom with Lori for almost 3 years. She creates a personalized exercise routine for me each week. Lori watches my form, takes into account my goals, knows my strengths and weaknesses and most recently is helping me mentally power through an injury. I am much more consistent with my exercising because of her!“
“Amazing space with welcoming people. I loved the 5pm gentle practice. It was the right amount of movement, meditation, and rest. It’s tricky to find so give yourself a few extra minutes. But plenty of parking on the street.“
“------ Try it for yourself | This is an incredibly unique yoga studio | She's got magical crystal sound bowls ---------“
“This studio changed my life! I never thought I could do yoga, but the teachers here are amazing and make you feel welcome, no matter your level of expertise.“
“I have attended classes here since fall of 2021 and I can say that all of the instructors that work here are positive, adaptable, and motivating human beings. I love dancing and sweating with everyone I meet. And yes, it is very open to dancers who are beginners and people who just want to move their body and feel good. There is a place for you ?“
“Jennifer is an amazingly body positive and creative instructor. I really appreciate that Jennifer creates a safer space for me as a nonbinary trans person! Thank you!!“
“Tanya led an amazing Level One Training for Thai Yoga Bodywork! She is a master of her craft and I recommend her programs. Thank you Tanya for everything!!!“
“Shaila is an experienced and knowledgeable yoga instructor in many types of yoga practices which she brings from in her classes which gives the name YOGAHOTDISH. I have been going to Shaila's classes for over 12 years and she truly is the best! She is knowledgable, experienced and adapts her yoga classes to individual needs/concerns/goals of her students......definitely not the fad/mass type of yoga class. Arden Hills is a wonderful space for yoga.....when weather permits there is a private outdoor patio looking over a beautiful wildlife area and a very spacious indoor area directly next to the patio. Lynette P.“
“Shaila is an instructor with heart. She is practical, wise, compassionate, humorous, and incredibly knowledgeable about yoga and how to teach it. She is very active and hands on throughout every session, moving around the whole 90 minutes helping every person correct and/or adapt poses. She makes her classes widely available across a large geographic range while leaving a small footprint by tucking into available unused community spaces whether it be a community center, childcare center, golf club, art center, or church. She understands that injuries, aging, surgeries and other bodily trials happen over the long haul of yoga practice, so she is an instructor who will push you plenty, but who also embraces the concept and frequently states it, “Do the best you can with the body you showed up in today. Work at your own pace.”“
“This is as nice of a LA club that I've seen, with all the amenities, including courts, pool, spa, and mini turf field. I'm happy to call this my home gym, it's cleaner than most LA clubs and there's no parking garage, easy access from the freeway“
